Rare CSX SD60M at Pittsburgh

      I stopped under the Fort Pitt Bridge hoping for one of CSX's new engines, but none showed up. But I did get to see an SD60M.

     In June, I am going to Cape May and i will put up a page just for the bird pictures on my trip. In July, I am going to Arizona to look for the trogons, and will hopefullt find some cool trains as well.

RARE CSX TRAINS!




     Hi people. I recently went down to California, PA, to see some trains. Apparently, Saturday isn't a very busy day for Norfolk Southern, but I did see a few engines in the Shire Oaks yard.And this old caboose that sits next to the California Library:

     On Saturday, I went down to Pittsburgh under the Fort Pitt Bridge to catch some CSX action. I saw four trains in thirty or fourty minutes.

The rest of the birding community around here is saying they are Greater White-fronted Geese (so far).
