Allegheny Valley Railroad

 Hey everyone, I caught these Allegheny Valley Railroad trains yesterday and today:

     I'm writing this at 7:56 pm and all I hear are spring peepers.

No. 2007

No. 2004 (2008 was at the back).

The rest of the birding community around here is saying they are Greater White-fronted Geese (so far).

I went for a bike ride and found these two Greater White-fronted Geese on a horse farm. I could tell they were'nt domestic because they have no clipped toes or feathers, and were actually thinner than the Canada Geese around them.

Mourning Dove Singing Behaivor

Hey it's 9:50pm ( though it says I published this at six-something), and I just heard a Mourning Dove sing! I would definitely know if it was an owl. But what I don't know is why it was singing now. If any of you have an idea why, just leave a comment below.

I've figured out that the sparrow from two posts ago is probably just a juvenile Song Sparrow. Savannahs don't have the pronounced eye-ring, which makes they're eyse seem smaller. The color can make differentiating the two difficult.
